PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system 1 and a method for remote maintenance management using a communication network 2 for devices Aj- k and A'j- k. SOLUTION: This system has means 11 and 21 for registration, means 12 and 22 which record information in databases BD- U, BD- C, and BD- R, means 13 and 23 which manages those databases, and means 14 and 24 which communicate the inspection results of the devices to users Uj and U'j and maintenance service providers Ci and Ri through the network. A communication module 24 communicates information included in the database BD- U to the providers Ci and Ri as well. The inspection results make it possible to compile symptoms regarding the operation states of the devices. This invention is applicable to a remote management portal. |
