PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmitter by which the number of bits is increased and which can be miniaturized in parallel data transmission. SOLUTION: An electric bus board 12 and an optical bus board 14 are arranged in parallel so as to be mutually opposed. A plurality of electric wiring boards 16 are erected in the direction perpendicular to the electric bus board 12 and the optical bus board 14 between the electric bus board 12 and the optical bus board 14. The electric wiring boards 16 perform low speed communication through the electric bus board and perform high speed communication through the optical bus board. Bus functions are shared by the optical bus board and the electric bus board.
