PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a thermoelectric device, which is manufactured at a low cost and is superior in mass production and thermoelectric characteristics, and a thermoelectric device which is manufactured by this method and is superior in thermoelectric characteristics. SOLUTION: A material powder which contains at least two elements from among Bi, Sb, Te, and Se, has a grain diameter (D50) of 0.5 to 10 μm at a cumulative weight ratio 50% and a grain diameter (D90) of 7 to 20 μm at a cumulative weight ratio 90% or a molded body of the material powder is backed, and it is preferable that the grain diameter ratio D90/D50 of the material powder be set at 1.2 to 4.0. |
