PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a black matrix, having high heat resistance, and low reflectivity and transmittance of visible light, and being unlikely to be electrified. SOLUTION: In this black matrix 28, ruthenium oxide having high heat resistance, which is free of the change of a color tone even by being heated, and having high conductivity, in comparison with spinel-type or inverse-spinel-type double oxide, is used as a black pigment, so that the black matrix 28 of sufficiently high heat resistance and sufficiently low reflectivity and transmittance of the visible light, and is unlikely to be electrified can be provided.
