PURPOSE: A clutch structure of a washing machine is provided to increase the strength of coupling hole parts of a second carrier plate for preventing the damage possibly generated in the initial mounting of first and second carrier plates and increasing the coupling force of the plates, thereby preventing the malfunction or damage of the clutch by the repeated washing and dehydrating operations. CONSTITUTION: A clutch structure of a washing machine includes a first carrier plate having a plurality of carriers(58c) formed with insertion parts(58d) protruded from the center of a lower part to be fitted into a second carrier plate and a plurality of reinforcing ribs(58e) on a periphery apart from the insertion parts by a predetermined distance, and the second carrier plate formed with coupling hole parts on a top surface to be fitted by the insertion parts and compressed by the reinforcing ribs. |
