PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical and wireless reader, in which an optical path is formed in the inner circumference of a reception antenna coil, capable of making communication with an ID tag without being affected by any environmental noise. SOLUTION: Communication with an ID tag can be made based on the reception signal of the reception antenna coil incorporated in the top end of a handy reader. In this case, a mobile coil part is mounted on the top end of the handy reader so as to be openable and closeable. An antenna coil for cancel is incorporated in the mobile coil part, and a response signal from the ID tag can be received by the reception antenna coil in a state that the mobile coil part is released. Also, when the interlinkage of an environmental noise is generated in the reception antenna coil and the antennal coil for cancel, a nose signal generated in the reception antenna coil can be invalidated by a noise signal generated in the antenna coil for cancel. |
