PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit shortening of time for power-off control and reduction of circuit scale by simplifying power interruption control by using the existing control signal. SOLUTION: A CPU 103 activates a stop mode signal STP when a system becomes at a standby state. A control circuit 107 holds an output signal ODT1 to the outside and a specified internal signal IDT1 in a backup register 108 and interrupts a power source VDD2 for driving an internal circuit when the stop mode signal STP is activated. The control circuit 107 holds the stop mode signal STP in the backup register 108 as well and uses the signal for output control at an external terminal 109 of the held output signal ODT3. When a stop mode state of the system is released by an interruption signal from the outside, power supply to an internal logical circuit is restarted and the control circuit 107 transfers a held internal signal IDT4 in the case of power interruption to the internal logical circuit 102.
