PURPOSE: A device for receiving a registered post or a parcel post is provided to deliver and receive a registered post or a postal parcel safely. CONSTITUTION: A card input unit(104) scans a card possessed by a postman or a mail receiver and receives card information. If a card is judged as to a valid card in accordance with the card information received from the card input unit(104), a door lock device unit(105) opens a door. If the door is opened by the door lock device unit(105), a bar code recognizing unit(106) scans a bar code printed on a registered post or a postal parcel. A memory unit(107) extracts and stores display information including a user ID, the date and time, and a registered post or postal parcel number from the card information scanned by the card input unit(104) and the bar code recognizing unit(106) and registered post or postal parcel information. An LCD display unit(108) displays the display information stored in the memory unit(107) successively in order of stored time. An LCD display unit(109) displays whether a registered post or postal parcel to be returned is included or not in an interior.
