PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of enhancing productivity by shortening a first copying (printing) time. SOLUTION: As for the image forming device provided with several image forming parts 10 for forming visible images on photoreceptor drums (photoreceptor) 11a to 11d, an intermediate transfer belt (intermediate transfer body) 31 where the images are transferred from the image forming parts 10 by primary transfer electrifying devices (primary transfer means) 35a to 35d, a secondary transfer roller (secondary transfer means) 86 for transferring the image from the intermediate belt 31 to a transfer material (recording medium) P and a fixing unit (fixing means) 40 for fixing the image transferred to the transfer material P, several kinds of image recording speed can be set with reference to the primary transfer electrifying devices 35a to 35d, and the image recording speed is made selectable so that the image recording speed may be made equal to or higher than the image recording speed in the secondary transfer roller 36 and the image fixing speed in the fixing unit 40. |
