PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contents quality control system that allows a terminal reproducing audio or video contents to be able to select audio or video contents quality so as to control the contents quality corresponding to traffic required for communication and data errors thereby optimally controlling the communication performance and the communication cost. SOLUTION: The contents quality control system of this invention is provided with a transmitter that is connected to a network and transmits audio, moving picture and still picture contents and with a contents receiver connected to the network. The receiver requests the transmitter to set a quality level of the contents and the transmitter transmits the contents encoded by the contents quality level requested from the receiver to the receiver. |
