PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of malfunctions, such as mis-insertion of a terminal such as double-locking omission, when a terminal is inserted into a connector housing having a spacer for double locking, in order to make automatic or manual assembly workability enhanced. SOLUTION: In an assembling method for a connector 1 in which a spacer 20 is locked temporarily in the connector housing 10, then a terminal 30 is locked regularly, the spacer 20 is locked temporarily in the connector housing 10; a jig rod 50, for unlocking the lock of the spacer 20 locked in the connector housing 10, is inserted into the connector housing 10 before the terminal is inserted; the jig rod 50 is drawn out of the connector housing 10; and then the terminal 30 is inserted into the connector housing 10. |
