PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data communication apparatus, capable of maintaining constant a communication cycle when outputting data. SOLUTION: In a normal state, a transfer data selecting part 108 detects the kind of data and the length of data from a data block, inputted from a data resynchronizing part 107 (or a data block inputted from a data block inputting and outputting part 111); verifies whether or not the transmission processing of the inputted data block is available within the present communication cycle; transmits the data block whose transmission processing is determined as being available within the present communication cycle to an encoding part 19 (or transmits the data block through a signal line 139 to the data block inputting and outputting part 111); and abandons the data block (or a part of the data block) whose transmission processing is determined to be unavailable within the present communication cycle, or temporarily stores and transmits the data block, when the transmission is available in the next and following communication cycles.
