摘要 PURPOSE: An optical multiplexing transmission apparatus for transmitting digital and analog data is provided to transmit high-speed data such as 155M SDH(Synchronous Digital Hierarchy), ATM(Asynchronous Transfer Mode)-25/155, Ethernet 10/100BT, E1, E3, and DRAN signals without an error by adopting a multi-level QAM(Quadrature Amplitude Modulation) and optimizing the use of an optical line. CONSTITUTION: An interface unit(60) inputs and outputs signals which satisfies the transmission standard of various electric signals. A modulating and demodulating unit(70) performs a multi-level QAM of the signal from the interface unit(60) for optimizing the efficiency of a bandwidth. An electric signal mixing unit(80) multiplexes the output signal of the modulating and demodulating unit(70), a PCS(Personal Communication Service)/cellular signal, and an IMT(International Mobile Telecommunication)-2000 signal according to an FDM(Frequency Division Multiplexing) type. An electric/optical converting unit(90) converts an electric signal into an optical signal and outputs the optical signal. A wavelength synthesizing/dividing unit(100) converts a signal which passes an optical line interval into an electric signal. An optical/electric inverse converting unit(110) divides transmitting and receiving signals, converts the received signal into an electric signal, and outputs the electric signal. An electric signal dividing unit(120) divides the PCS/cellular signal and the IMT-2000 signal, and recovers the divided signal with the OFM type as a signal with an original type. A demodulating unit(130) recovers the QAM signal as an original digital signal.
