PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolytic capacitor having a small leakage current. SOLUTION: An insulating resin material 9 having insulation solids mixed therein is formed in insulation defect portions on a dielectric film 3, formed on a valve metal porous body 2 by electrolytic deposition to provide insulation; and thus a solid electrolytic capacitor superior in electrical characteristics is obtained.
