<p>PURPOSE: Provided are a process for producing a sound-absorbing insulation material for the interior of cars and the sound-absorbing insulation material excellent in heat-keeping property, sound-absorbing property, and formability. CONSTITUTION: The process for producing the sound-absorbing insulation material(4) comprises the steps of; cutting a polyester fiber(1) and an acrylic fiber(2) and beating, wherein the ratio of the polyester fiber(1) and the acrylic fiber(2) is 50:50; mixing 35% of the polyester fiber(1), 35% of the acrylic fiber(2), and 30% of a low melting point polyester fiber(3) and carding; molding; heating to melt the low melting point polyester fiber(3) to make nonwoven fabric form; compressing and cooling; and cutting.</p> |
