A method for producing high pressure fluids for various processes, e.g. fluid milling, aerosol spraying, uses at least two fluids with different temperature/pressure characteristics. The fluids are pressurized to high pressures and mixed in a mixer, e.g. using sintered ceramic, and applying to dosing jets. The mixing can be prior to pressurizing, or the separate fluids can be pressurized before mixing, either in a separate mixer or at the jets. The exact set-up conditions depend on the separate pressure/temperature characteristics of the fluids. As an example, liquefied carbon dioxide is mixed with water to produce ice particles to enhance the cutting effect, with the carbon dioxide leaving no residues for recycling/disposing of the water.
