<p>A repeater (10) for use in connection with enhancing reception of wireless communications in an architectural structure (20) utilizes a housing (16) that incorporates both a null antenna (14) capable of being oriented to provide an antenna beam directed into an interior portion (26) of the architectural structure (20), and a repeater circuit (200) that is configured to provide bi-directional exchange of radio frequency signals between the null antenna (14) and a donor antenna (12). The donor antenna (12) may also be mounted to the housing (16), or alternatively may be coupled to the housing (16) via a cable (36) or other communications path. The repeater is suitable for installation in an attic (18), or alternatively, within a room (26) or other inhabitable area of a structure (20).</p> |
