<p>The invention relates to novel cosmetic compositions comprising, in a cosmetically-acceptable medium, at least one starch and at least one ester selected from among: 1) liquid esters from C3-C30 carboxylic acid and C1-C30 alcohol, with at least one from the acid or the alcohol being branched or unsaturated; and 2) esters from C7-C30 aromatic acid having a carboxylic function that is directly linked to the aromatic cycle and C1-C30 alcohol. The inventive composition does not contain soap. Said association provides cosmetic compositions with a velvety-smooth texture and the compositions can be easily rinsed off. Hair treated with said composition feels soft and contains no residue. The inventive compositions are particularly suitable for washing and/or conditioning keratinous matter, such as the hair or skin.</p> |
