<p>The invention relates to a nylon 4.6 copolymer filamentary yarn for reinforcing rubber, a method for preparing the same, dipped cord produced from the same and rubber materials reinforced with the dipped cord. The nylon 4.6 filamentary yarn is produced from nylon 4.6 copolymer resin comprising at least 90 wt% repeating units of -[NH-(CH2)4-NH-CO-(CH2)4-CO]- and up to 10 wt% of a comonomer, preferably caprolactam and has a viscosity number of 160-250 ml/g, wherein the yarn has a strength of a t least 6.7 cN/dtex, an elongation at break of at least 15 %, a dry heat shrinkage at 180 °C of most 4.0 %, and a density of at least 1.1600 g/cm3.</p> |
