The invention relates to a wind energy turbine comprising a ring generator (16, 18) and a housing (14) comprising a thermally conductive housing section (20) in the vicinity of the ring generator. One drawback of the devices in prior art is that mechanical vibrations of the generator are audible as an acoustic disturbance. The aim of the invention is to eliminate said drawback to as great an extent as possible. To achieve this, a predetermined interval is configured between the external circumference of the ring generator and the thermally conductive housing section. |
