RETRACTABLE DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retractable display device capable of manually inserting and ejecting a display screen image and certainly carrying out a horizontal attitude retaining at the time of insertion/ejection of a monitor and a lock of a slide action at the time of completion of ejection. SOLUTION: The retractable display device is provided with a monitor 12 advanceably/retreatably housed in a case 11; a small tray 13 supporting the monitor 12 and slidably supported against the case 11; and a lock mechanism 30 interposed between the case 11 and the small tray 13 and locking the slide of the small tray 13 against the case 11 when the monitor 12 is raised up at the outside of the case 11. A locking spring 31 receiving an operation force from the monitor when the monitor takes a first turning position becoming parallel to a slide direction of the small tray 13 is provided on the lock mechanism 30. The lock and the unlock of the lock mechanism 30 are switched corresponding to the position of the monitor 12 by the lock spring 31.
