PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester fiber to which a functional agent and a binder can be adhered for long periods, even when a surface treatment using a special device for a plasma treatment or the like is not applied. SOLUTION: This polyester fiber having unevenness on the surface is characterized by adhering a function-developing substance to the surface of the polyester fiber through a binder having a contact angle of <=90 degree to the polyester.
