PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a jig for suspension capable of being mounted and demounted on and from the side end face of a panel for building such as a large-sized floor panel in single operation in the case of the suspension of the panel and safely suspending the panel surely. SOLUTION: The jig 10 for suspension retained to the side edge section 2 of the panel in the case of the suspension of the panel 1 for building is composed of a jig body 11, which is formed in an approximately L shape by a vertical piece section 12 abutted against the side end face of the panel and a horizontal piece section 15 abutted against the upper side face 4 of the panel and in which an engaging projecting section 16 engaged by insertion into an engaging hole 3 recessed to the side end face of the panel is formed to the vertical piece section, an abutting end 20, which is supported rotatably at a place upper than the engaging projecting section in the vertical piece section of the jig body and in which a lower end is extended to a section lower than the engaging projecting section and can be abutted at a place lower than the side end face of the panel, and a control lever section 14 in which an upper end is extended to an upper section and formed as an operating end 19.
