PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify check of the state of a roller for drawing a recoding paper from a containing tray and feeding it and replacement of the roller. SOLUTION: As an inspection window is formed on a rotation supporting plate 626 on a separation feeding unit 611, the state of a pickup roller 621 can be easily checked through the inspection window. As the rotation supporting plate 626 is rotatably supported on the upper edge of a paper containing tray 610, check of the state of a lower face of the rotation supporting plate 626 and its maintenance can be done easily by rotating and moving the rotation supporting plate 626 upward.
