PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a HIV-1 infection-suppressing polypeptide. SOLUTION: Peptides corresponding to an extracellular domain of the N- terminal of CXCR4, CCR5, CCR3 and GPR1 were synthesized, and the influence of the peptides on coreceptor-using HIV-1 infection was studied, and it was found that a peptide of the first to 26th at the N-terminal of GPR1, which has not been considered as a chemokine receptor, extremely suppresses the HIV-1 infection. That is, the present invention provides polypeptides having an amino acid sequence of MEDLEETLFEEFENYSYDLDYYSLES (Sequence No.1), EFENYSYDLDYY (Sequence No.2) or ENYSYDLDYYSLE (Sequence No.3).
