PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent contact of a media holding-down roller with a film which is a residue from processing on a heating drum and to improve media processing performance in a processing device for a thermally processable media. SOLUTION: This processing device for processing a thermally processable media has a heated drum 14 which can be rotated for processing the thermally processable media having a width and a thickness dimensions, a plurality of rollers 18 arranged around a circumferential part of the drum 14 in contact with the drum 14 with an interval for pressing the media onto the drum 14, and a groove 22 in a central area of the roller 18. the groove 22 has a width larger than the width dimension of the media and a depth smaller than the thickness dimension t of the media.
