PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the fuel consumption when a helical compressor is applied to an air conditioner for an automobile by making the displacement of the helical compressor variable. SOLUTION: The helical compressor has a second rotor 28 having a cone outer surface 28a part of which is always in contact with a cone inner surface 14a of a first rotor 14 supported rotatably by cases 10 and 12, and a helical blade 32 in the helical shape for sectioning/forming plural compressing chambers 36 between both cone surfaces 14a and 28a in the axial direction of the cone inner surface 14a. A fluid to be compressed is compressed in the compressing chambers 36 successively by rotating the first rotor 14 and moved in the axial direction, and the second rotor 28 is made to be moved along the cone inner surface 14a in the axial direction.
