FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: chuck has wedge-shaped cams spring-biased to one another and cam separating mechanism, which is adapted for individual adjustment of each cam. Chuck of such construction allows lateral loads applied to broach shank to be reduced. Chuck is used for attachment of working tool on broaching lathe.
