PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding container which can be simply assembled and folded. SOLUTION: The folding container is constituted with a pair of side walls 2a and 2b opposed to each other and another pair of side walls 2c and 2d opposed to each other, each side wall being connected to the respective sides of a bottom wall 1 in such a manner as to be freely raised upright and laid flat. The container is provided with each of locking structures 3 with which another pair of side walls 2c and 2d to be folded in a superposed state on the paired side walls 2a and 2b to be opposingly folded on an upper face of the bottom wall 1 are locked and held in the state of a slant posture which is a substantially perpendicular posture with respect to the bottom wall 1. Each locking structure 3 has the function of causing another pair of side walls 2c and 2d to elastically deform from their erection holding postures between each of them and the bottom wall 1 to finally make them assume a perpendicular posture.
