PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for constructing a building capable of constructing the multi-storied building without depending upon the weather, without forming a scaffolding for the outer circumferential section of the building and further without replacing a crane. SOLUTION: The lower layer section of the building A is constructed on a bearing ground, and guide supports 2 are disposed in upright on the side circumference of the building A while a building frame 1 is assembled slidably and vertically, using the guide supports 2 as guides. A roof as a sheet 5, work platforms 3a, a hoist crane 6, the crane 7 or the like are installed previously to the building frame 1. The building A is constructed by repeating a lifting process, in which the building frame 1 is lifted, using the guide supports 2 as the guides by pulling up the building frame 1 by wires 11, and a constructing connecting process, in which the guide support materials 2 are connected to upper sections by utilizing the crane 7, at fixed times.
