PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a width of a cylinder head to be small in a perpendicular direction to an axial line of a cam shaft in an SOHC engine in which a first and a second insertion/removal guide parts for respectively guiding insertion/ removal of a first and a second spark plugs are provided on a cylinder head having an intake valve to the first spark plug, and an exhaust valve to the second spark plug arranged along the axial line of the cam shaft. SOLUTION: A single rocker shaft 55 to commonly support an intake side rocker arm 59 to drive the intake valve 47 to follow an intake side cam 57 and an exhaust side rocker arm 60 to drive the exhaust valve 48 to follow an exhaust side cam 58 is disposed to be fixed above the cam shaft 34. The first insertion/removal guide part 68 and the intake valve 47 are disposed to be at least partly overlapped with each other in a projected drawing to a plane perpendicular to the axial line of the cam shaft 34. The second insertion/removal guide part 69 and the exhaust valve 48 are disposed to be at least partly overlapped with each other in a projected drawing to the plane.
