PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply change identification information of recoding media. SOLUTION: A resistor sheet 7 is mounted on the outer face of a recording paper cassette 1. Three or more electrodes are provided with an equal interval on a support of the resistor sheet 7, and two or more resistors are provided between these electrodes. The electrodes and the resistors are formed in the film state. When a recording paper cassette 1 is loaded on a printer, voltage between the electrodes is read out by the printer. The read-out voltage is converted to digital data, which are recognized as identification information of a color thermal recording paper 3 in the printer.
