<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile accident recording device capable of increasing degree of freedom of stop timing of a recording operation, appropriately recording a picture of a scene determined to be required by a user, and contributing on accident analysis by an insurance company or the like. SOLUTION: This automobile accident recording device comprises a photographing device 11 for photographing a situation around the automobile and sequentially overwriting and holding it as dynamic picture image data onto a recording medium, an accident detecting means 12 for detecting an accident of the automobile, an engine stop detecting means 13 for detecting stop of an engine of the automobile, and a controlling means 10 for stopping the overwriting and holding by the photographing device 11 when the accident detecting means 12 detects the accident and the engine stop detecting means 13 detects the stop of the engine.</p> |
