PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a steering sensor having a configuration, that can be arranged near a steering mechanism for reducing the slight deviations between rotary angle information detected by the steering sensor and the rolling steering angle of a wheel, for eliminating restrictions in the arrangement of other pieces of equipment around the steering wheel, and for reducing the risk of being strident on one's ears in a room, due to mechanical noise being generated from the steering sensor. SOLUTION: The steering wheel 21 is connected to a steering mechanism section 23 via a steering shaft 22; the operation of the steering wheel 21 by a driver for rotation causes the rotation to be transmitted to the steering mechanism section 23, that performs rolling steering of a wheel. The steering shaft 22 has a plurality of connection sections 24. At the connection section between the steering shaft 22 indicated by a symbol 25 and the steering mechanism section 23, a permanent magnet (not shown) is arranged on the end face of the tip section of the steering shaft 22. Then, the steering sensor 31 is arranged at a position that faces the permanent magnet. |
