PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a silk fine particle aqueous solution of fine quality which can be used as the raw material for pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, foodstuffs, fiber treating agents and the like, and its application articles. SOLUTION: The aqueous solution containing silk fine particles having a size of <=10 microns can be obtained through the steps of heating a silk raw material obtained by cutting silk fibers from which sericins have been removed to a length of several centimeters in a vacuum at >=50 deg.C, preferably 100-230 deg.C; milling the silk raw material after the heat treatment with water in a mill to obtain an aqueous solution containing silk particles having a particle diameter of <=100μm; and subjecting the obtained aqueous solution to emulsification treatment by a high-pressure homogenizer. By providing this aqueous solution with appropriate treatments, an article such as a powder, a film, and a coating material can be obtained. |
