PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic flight control device for an aircraft capable of setting an optimum flight route. SOLUTION: This automatic flight control device for the aircraft sets a flight route when the aircraft 21 flies in a prescribed approach azimuth Y1 to a flight target point 32 in environment with a wind W. The automatic control device is provided with a first cyclone curve setting part for setting a first cyclone curve Cca making for the leeward side of the wind from the current position 31 of the aircraft; a second cyclone curve setting part for setting a second cyclone curve Ccb making for the windward of the wind from the flight target point; and a common tangent setting part for setting a tangent Ls common to the first cyclone curve and the second cyclone curve. The flight route is set on the basis of the first cyclone curve, the second cyclone curve and the tangent.
