PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency door provided on a vehicle for a new transportation system or the like, and a vehicle provided with the emergency door, in which the emergency door can be easily opened/closed without requiring large force by improving operability in simple constitution. SOLUTION: Seats are respectively provided on a car body and the emergency door, and the seats are pivotally connected to an arm by vertical pins on a floor surface of the car body or a traveling road surface to compose a link mechanism. The emergency door is thus supported to be opened and closed by pivotal support by the vertical pins around the seat provided on the car body through the arm. By changing a rotation radius of the arm, an opening/ closing movement range of the emergency door is reduced. For connection of the arm to the car body and the door, the vertical pins are used for pivotal support, so that the emergency door need not to be lifted against its weight even when the emergency door is inclined. Opening/closing operation can thus be conducted by small force, thereby compactness and operability are improved.
