SOUNDPROOF FLOOR STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a floor into soundproof structure so as not to transmit noise such as impact sound downstairs through the floor. SOLUTION: A large number of cylindrical sound absorbing materials 5 formed into rings of circular shape from the top view using thick nonwoven fabric are arranged in an underfloor space between a floor slab 1 and floor backing 2 so that the side walls come in mutual contact, and a sound-absorbing surrounding space 6 opened on the upper and lower sides between the cylindrical sound absorbing materials 5 is formed in the underfloor space 4. Noise in the floor backing 2 is absorbed by the surrounding space 6 to attain floor sound insulation of high performance at low cost.
