PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for preparing confectionery for permitting spraying of a powder material on the total surface of chocolate coated on biscuit without causing damage to the biscuit are provided. Therefore, the method enables the powder to coat only on a desired portion and prevents the powder from coagulation with cake. CONSTITUTION: An inlet hopper(28) for powder material is installed on the upper part of one end of a housing(22) of a screw feeder(20) comprising the housing and a screw(24), plurals of powder inlet holes(12), a conveyor transfer hole and a biscuit transfer path are installed on a closed type spray housing(10), plurals of spray means for spraying powder are rotatively constructed at both sides of the spray housing. A conveyor(40) is constructed at the lower space of the spray housing and a collecting hopper(42) for collecting powder fallen from the conveyor is constructed immediately below the conveyor.
