PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noncontact type temperature detector capable of performing a stable temperature detection over a long period and a fixing device and image forming device using it. SOLUTION: This temperature detector 7 for detecting the surface temperature of a heated body 2 heated by a heating source 1 in a non-contact state is provided with a noncontact type temperature sensor 3 arranged opposite to the heated body 2 to measure the infrared light emitted from the heated body 2, a filter 4 provided between the heated body 2 and the noncontact temperature sensor 3, and a cleaner 5 for cleaning the body 2-side surface of the filter 4. The filter 4 is cleaned by the cleaner 5 at a proper timing. This temperature detector is applied to a fixing device and image forming device.
