PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation confirmation switch inspection method for a passenger conveyor with wheelchair conveyance that confirms a normal operation of a special step. SOLUTION: For an inspection of wheelchair conveying operation confirmation switches 21 to 24 for the wheelchair conveying special steps 10 to 12 in a passenger conveyor with a wheelchair conveying capability, a template 31 whose portion corresponding to a mounting position of kick metal 25 of each of the switches 21 to 24 lapping over the special steps 10 to 12 is cut out and which is recessed and projected against contact with another part from a reference position of each of the switches 21 to 24, is placed from above over an engaging device 13, whereupon necessity of adjustment is determined according to whether the kick metal 15 of each of the switches 21 to 24 projects from the cutout portion or not.
