PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera system whose efficiency in terms of space is improved, without clinging to an existing mount shape. SOLUTION: As for the camera system capable of interchanging a lens with reference to the camera body 1, a camera mount 11 and a lens barrel mount 31 are separately formed to a nearly rectangular shape in accordance with a photographing frame shape, and a locking/releasing device which is used in the case of holding/detaching the lens barrel main body 3 is arranged on the camera body 1 side, besides, the sizes of chamfering at the upper corner part and the lower corner part in the diagonal positions of the mount 11 are made to differ from each other, then, the system is constituted so that the lens barrel can be mounted only from one normal direction, as for the lens barrel mounting position. |
