摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitting mechanism for an automatic transmission capable of predetermined start controlling including a torque increasing function without using a torque converter and an electromagnetic clutch. SOLUTION: When starting, a controller 32 selects an auxiliary transmission 20 in the low-speed (speed reduction) stage state by releasing a high-speed stage selecting clutch 24, and starts by controlling a forward clutch 4a from the neutral condition for disconnecting the forward clutch 4a and a backward clutch 4b. When controlling gear shift after starting, the controller 32 controls toroidal transmission units 5 and 6 for gear shift so that the engine speed Ne detected by a sensor 33 coincides with the target input number of revolution obtained from the car speed VSP and the throttle opening TVO on the basis of the predetermined gear shifting map. After getting into an operation range for shifting the auxiliary transmission 20 to the high-speed stage condition, the high-speed stage selecting clutch 24 is selected from the low-speed stage selecting condition to the high-speed stage selecting condition (direct connecting condition) to continue the described gear shift control.
