PURPOSE: A combination system and a method for copying automatically applied to the same are provided to prevent mis-operation that still image signals of DVD data are recorded continuously, thereby improving the reliability of the combination system. CONSTITUTION: A combination system(100) includes a reproducing part(120) reproducing signals recorded at one recording medium, a recording part(110) recording the signals reproduced by the reproducing part at the other recording medium, wherein the combination system includes a detecting part detecting whether predetermined still image signals exist in the signals reproduced by the reproducing part, a control part(123) controlling the reproducing part and the recording part to proceed the reproducing operation of the reproducing part and the recording operation of the recording part when the detecting part detected the still image signals.
