PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner which can inform the user of the fault state of a faulty outdoor unit while continuing the operation of the system at large with normal outdoor units even if any outdoor unit goes wrong among a plurality of outdoor units, and can inform the user of the fault state of the faulty unit, keeping the operation at insignificant fault of the outdoor unit. SOLUTION: This air conditioner is equipped with a control means which classifies the fault levels, with regard to the fault having occurred in some outdoor unit among the outdoor units 1a-1c, and can inform the user of it, keeping the operation of the system at large as it is, if it is the fault of content which is possible of continuation of operation. On the other hand, if it is the fault of content which is impossible of continuation of operation, the control means can inform the user of it, continuing the operation of the system at large with the above other normal outdoor units if the other outdoor units are capable of being operated.
