PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium battery that is of low cost, reliable and suitable for mounting. SOLUTION: An outside terminal 5, 6 is respectively jointed to the electrodes 3, 4 of a battery element 1, which has an electrolyte 2 between a pair of electrodes 3, 4. The above battery element 1 is covered by a resin layer 10 through a heat shrinkage sheet 12 and this resin layer 10 constitutes an outer cover 11 of a battery.
