PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve stability of detection operation for carbon monoxide concentration with a CO sensor (60), and prevent acidic liquid particles produced upon initial combustion of gas burners (36), (37) from adhering to the CO sensor (60) in a gas combustion apparatus having the CO sensor (60) for detecting the carbon monoxide concentration provided on an exhaust passage permitting combustion exhaust air from the gas burners (36), (37) to flow through. SOLUTION: The foregoing CO sensor (60) is accommodated in an exhaust storage box (62), an opened one end section of which is connected with a connection hole opened in a constitution wall of the exhaust storage box (62), and along a peripheral side wall of which a vent pipe (63), which vent holes (67).
