PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate authenticity, without having the produced image and reproducing method of a hologram found out by a user. SOLUTION: This hologram discrimination system 1 has the hologram 3, having the concealed information affixed onto a medium 2, a laser beam source 5 for irradiating the hologram 3 with a reference light 4, photodetecting means 7 for receiving the reflected light 6 from the hologram 3, a signal professing section for processing the output signal of the photodetecting means 7 and an identification section for identifying the correctness of the concealed information recorded to the hologram 3 according to the data subjected to signal processing in this signal processing section. The system described above has a slot 10 to be inserted with a medium 2, an access means 11 for turning on and off the operation of the hologram discrimination system 1 and display means 19 or displaying the result of the discrimination and has a casing 14 housing the laser beam source 5, the photodetecting means 7, the signal processing section and the discrimination section in a sealed state. |
