PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing device enabling a person in charge of sales to appropriately present the utility of a product to a customer and enabling a person in charge of development to promptly recognize the request of the customer. SOLUTION: The information providing device is provided with a scene database storing scene codes specifying scenes that the product encounters, an element database storing element codes specifying elements constituting the product and a utility database storing utility data indicating the utility to be brought by the elements. The utility data can be specified by utility codes provided with the scene code and the element code.
