PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for allowing a client terminal user to automatically select a helper application to be started without considering the set contents of a correlating table. SOLUTION: An automatic selection helper application having a function to select and start a helper application to be started is setup by referring to a message received on a terminal, and a helper application to be normally started is set. Thus, it is possible for a user to select the helper application to be started without changing the correlating table of an Internet browser.
